Server Specifications

• Intel P4 or AMD K7 3GHz or better
• 2GB RAM
• CD-ROM for software installation
• USB or Parallel port for hardware key
• Video card
• Gigabit Ethernet network adapter
• 100GB hard drive for OS and SiteWatch™
• Sufficient hard drive space to archive the JPEG images. We suggest approximately 1.5GB of space per day per camera for indoor cameras. Image Storage Requirements may be calculated using the storage calculator
• CD-RW, DVD-RW, Flash Drive or other suitable removable media for archive image export of specific incidents
• Monitor
• Keyboard
• Mouse
• Modem (optional) for pager alerts
• HP StorageWorks AIT 50 tape drive or equivalent (optional) for long term storage of archived images

For SiteWatch 3.1.8 and earlier:

For SiteWatch 4.0.4 and later:

* 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows are not currently supported for SiteWatch servers.

• Video adapter with 128 MB on-board memory (not system shared memory)
• Sound card w/speakers (optional)
• 10/100 Ethernet network adapter
• Monitor
• Keyboard
• Mouse

The Primary station controls all of the secondary stations. Secondary displays for monitoring stations require the same hardware with the exception of the need for a floppy drive, keyboard or mouse.
